Cancellation Policy

HEYIT DISPLAY RENTAL – BOOKING POLICY By booking, you agree to these terms in full. No signature required — booking = acceptance. BOOKING & PAYMENT Bookings confirmed once HeyIT sends written confirmation and any deposit is paid. All prices are inclusive of VAT. HeyIT may require a security deposit/damage bond before release of equipment. HIRE PERIOD You are responsible for the display from delivery/collection until it's returned to and inspected by HeyIT. Late returns are charged at the standard daily rate per extra day. CARE & USE Use indoors only (unless agreed otherwise), as instructed. Keep it secure and protected from theft, weather, and impact. No modification or third-party servicing without HeyIT's consent. DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT Repairable damage: you pay full repair cost (inc. VAT), including parts, labour, courier costs, and loss-of-hire income for each day it's out of service. Beyond economical repair, lost, or stolen: you pay full replacement cost at HeyIT's standard retail rate (inc. VAT), no depreciation deducted. Any deposit held is applied first, with you liable for the balance. HeyIT's assessment of repairable vs. beyond economical repair is final. DAMAGE WAIVER (if purchased) Caps liability for accidental damage only, up to the agreed amount. Does not cover theft, loss, deliberate damage, misuse, or negligence — full liability under Section 4 still applies. CANCELLATIONS Reasonable notice may entitle you to a full/partial deposit refund, at HeyIT's discretion. Late cancellations/no-shows may forfeit the deposit. INSURANCE You're encouraged to hold insurance covering full replacement value during hire. Proof of adequate cover naming HeyIT as loss payee may be accepted instead of a deposit. LIABILITY HeyIT isn't liable for indirect/consequential losses (e.g. event disruption) unless caused by our negligence. Nothing here limits liability that can't be excluded under UK law. ACCEPTANCE By booking, you confirm you accept this policy and full financial responsibility for repair or full retail replacement (inc. VAT) if the display is damaged beyond economical repair, lost, or stolen while in your care, and will return it on time in the condition supplied.
