Maxwell McKay

Maxwell is the CEO and founder of HeyIT, leading the company since its inception in March 2021. With a passion for technology that began in his childhood, Maxwell has been creating websites and supporting local businesses' IT needs for many years. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in starting and growing HeyIT to its current size, all while he pursued a full-time degree at the University of Aberdeen. Maxwell's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence continue to drive HeyIT's success, making him a pivotal figure in the company's journey and achievements.

Jamie Glendinning

Jamie is our Lead IT Helpdesk Technician at HeyIT, responsible for delivering prompt, reliable support to our clients. He focuses on resolving tickets efficiently to minimise disruption to day-to-day business operations. Jamie has a strong technical foundation and a practical, hands-on approach to IT support, with experience across user support, device troubleshooting, and cloud services. He is skilled in Jamf and Microsoft 365 management, making him a key part of our helpdesk operations. Jamie’s attention to detail and commitment to client service help ensure our customers receive consistent, high-quality IT support.

Sam Barry

Sam is an IT Helpdesk Technician at HeyIT, supporting our clients with day-to-day technical issues and user requests. He plays a key role in handling support tickets, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with device and software setup to keep businesses running smoothly. Sam has a keen interest in IT systems and a strong willingness to learn, bringing a positive and proactive attitude to the helpdesk. His reliable approach and focus on customer service help ensure clients receive friendly, efficient, and dependable IT support.

Jad Bazzi

Jad is an IT Technician at HeyIT, supporting our clients with efficient and effective day-to-day IT support. He is experienced in resolving support tickets promptly to minimise disruption to business operations. With a background in both front-end and back-end development, Jad brings a well-rounded understanding of IT systems to his work. He is skilled in Jamf and Microsoft 365 management, allowing him to support a wide range of client environments. Jad’s technical knowledge and client-focused approach help ensure a reliable and high standard of IT support.

Joie Padernal

Joie is our Administrative Assistant at HeyIT, providing essential support across the day-to-day operations of the business. She helps keep everything running smoothly by assisting with administration, scheduling, client communications, and internal coordination. Joie plays an important role in supporting both the technical team and our clients, ensuring requests are handled efficiently and information is well organised. Her attention to detail, reliability, and supportive approach make her a valuable part of the HeyIT team.

Breagha Sinclair

Breagha is our Executive Assistant at HeyIT, bringing a fresh, outside perspective to help develop and refine our business strategy. She focuses on improving efficiency and administration within the company, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively. Based in Aberdeen, Breagha's strategic insights and organisational skills are instrumental in enhancing our business processes and supporting our growth. Her dedication to optimising our internal functions makes her an invaluable member of the HeyIT team.

Abhijith Udayakumar

Abhijith is our Cyber Security Specialist at HeyIT, dedicated to ensuring our clients are protected from cyber attacks around the clock. With extensive experience in Microsoft Intune and other cutting-edge security technologies, Abhijith expertly manages and safeguards IT environments - including compliance with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials. His proactive approach and deep understanding of cyber threats provide our clients with peace of mind, knowing their data and systems are secure. At HeyIT, Abhijith's expertise is pivotal in delivering robust, reliable cyber security solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each business we serve.

Frank

Frank takes his role very seriously - mainly by making sure morale stays high with strategic tail wags, surprise desk visits, and the occasional well-timed nap. As our Head of Pawsitivity, he's responsible for reminding the team to take breaks, get fresh air, and never say no to a snack. When he’s not overseeing walk schedules or monitoring treat supply levels, Frank can usually be found sunbathing near a radiator or subtly encouraging lunchtime sharing. An essential part of the HeyIT culture, Frank brings balance, joy, and just the right amount of fur to the office.
